Executive Director, Cornerstone Assistance Network, Fort Worth, Texas Mike Doyle is Chief Executive Officer, Cornerstone Assistance Network; Immediate Past Chairman and President, Tarrant County Homeless Coalition; Board Member, Texas Homeless Network; Board Member of the Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County Board; Board Member, Immanuel's Healthcare; Advisory Board Member, University of Indiana School of Philanthropy, FASTEN Program; Governor's Bush and Perry's appointee to the Interagency Council for the Homeless in Texas, and Governor Perry's appointee as the Texas Liaison to The United States Interagency Council on Homelessness in DC. He was awarded The President's Silver Medal for Service in 2007. He received The Kathy Reid Award from The Texas Homeless Network in 2007. The award recognizes a person whose body of work has substantially impacted the issues around homelessness on a local, state, and national level. He is a frequent speaker at National conferences on the PresidentŐs Faith Based Initiative. Cornerstone has been featured in two publications: Welfare of My Neighbor by Deanna Carlson at The Family Research Council and Empowering Compassion: The Strategic Role of Intermediary Organizations in Building Capacity Among and Enhancing the Impact of Community Transformers by Dr. Amy Sherman of The Hudson Institute. Mike was voted Executive Director of the year in 1998 by the Texas Homeless Network. |
