Heather Clawson
Principal with ICF International Dr. Heather Clawson is a Principal with ICF International. Dr. Clawson has been designing and conducting social science research for more than twelve years. She is a highly-experienced and successful project manager of more than 20 separate research and evaluation studies in the fields of juvenile justice, victim services, and youth development. She has designed studies ranging from strictly qualitative case studies to experimental studies to full-fledged mixed methods that include experimental components. The range of analytic techniques Dr. Clawson has employed in those studies includes regression analysis, correlation analysis, simulations, hierarchical linear modeling, structural equation modeling, all of which could be used in analysis for the proposed project. Her extensive experience as an evaluator of a variety of social programs has led to her excellent skills in synthesizing and reporting data in forms that are useful to a variety of audiences. Dr. Clawson currently serves as the Principal Investigator for the longitudinal randomized controlled trial study of Amachi Texas for the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and for the National Evaluation of Communities In Schools for Atlantic Philanthropies. |
